Chennai: A 27-year-old man, working in a private television channel, died in a road accident near Ashok Nagar on Tuesday morning after his bike collided with an autorickshaw. The auto driver also sustained injuries and is currently under treatment.
The Guindy Traffic Investigation Wing (TIW) identified the deceased as Bhuvaneshwaran from Old Washermenpet. Around 6 am on Tuesday, he was riding along Ashok Nagar second avenue when he crashed into the autorickshaw. Bhuvaneshwaran died on the spot. Police said that the autorickshaw driver will be taken into custody after he recovers. tnn
