Chandigarh: Three individuals were arrested for allegedly kidnapping, assaulting, and robbing a Mansa native of his gold bracelet on Saturday. The accused were identified as Kulwinderjit Singh (18), Ramandeep Singh (21), Khuspreet Singh (20), all residents of Mansa (Punjab). In his complaint, victim Joginder Singh (26) claimed that on Nov 2, several men, including Kulwinderjit and Ramandeep, forcibly entered his flat, assaulted him, and threatened him with a firearm. They later kidnapped him and abandoned him on Sector 85 Road in Mohali after taking away his gold bracelet. Police seized a country-made pistol and live cartridges from the trio. The vehicle involved in the incident was also impounded. A case under under sections 333, 140(1), 351(3), 115(2), 61(2) & 25-54-59 of the BNS and the Arms Act has been registered.
