Kota: A govt schoolteacher was allegedly stabbed to death by assailants over a trivial issue at an eatery in Bundi district on Monday. The deceased, identified as Manish Kumar Meena, was a third-grade teacher at a school in Namana village for the last two years. He was to get married in January next year. The police have registered a murder case against unidentified persons and launched an operation to nab them.
Circle inspector at Bundi Sadar police station, Bhagwan Sahay, said the incident took place when Meena was leaving the eatery with his friends. One of the accused stabbed him. His friend Sourabh was also injured in the attack. On report of the crime, police transported Meena to Bundi district hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around an hour later due to excessive bleeding, Sahay said. tnn
