Ludhiana: Missing for about 14 days, the body of a man identified as Dheeraj Kumar, was found hanging from a tree in the forest area of Bramanmajra village. Police said that the body could not be found for days as it was hanging in a secluded and forested area rarely visited by people.
The deceased 29-year-old man was a labourer from Uttar Pradesh. He had been living in Shimlapuri area with his brother, Prem Kumar. Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar said that Dheeraj had been missing for about 14 days. He said that the victim left the factory but did not reach home. A missing complaint was filed by his brother but he could not be traced. Two days ago, a few school children noticed the body and informed people. Thereafter, the police got the information.
By the time the body was found, it was completely decomposed. Only a skeleton remained. tnn
