Rourkela: A 28-year-old medical officer of NIT Rourkela, was found hanging in his quarters on the campus on Monday. Police recovered a suicide note suggesting he might have killed himself over a failed relationship.
Dr Santosh Hugar, who hailed from Karnataka, was serving at NIT Rourkela for the past one year. Sector-3 police inspector Prativa Manjari Sahoo said they have registered an unnatural death case.
NIT Rourkela registrar Prof Rohan Dhiman said the exact cause of death will be determined after a thorough investigation. TNN
