Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay on Monday demanded that the Congress govt release the report of the Samagra Kutumba Survey (SKS) carried out during the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) govt tenure.
Speaking to the media, Bandi Sanjay said that if the survey led to wastage of hundreds of crores of govt money, the amount should be recovered from former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's family if the Congress govt has the courage.
He also said that details such as caste, religion, income, and assets were recorded in the survey. The Union minister further sought to know why there was so much fuss about caste enumeration when caste has not changed over the years.
Earlier interacting with non-resident indians (NRIs) in a video conference, the minister expressed the confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party will come back to power in 2028 elections.
