Bhubaneswar: Delhi police arrested three people on Monday for their alleged role in the rape of a 34-year-old woman from Odisha on Oct 11 in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan area. The information was confirmed in a video message by chief minister Mohan Majhi.
“Three people were arrested by Delhi police in this connection. Odisha police had been in touch with Delhi police since the day of the incident. We leave no stone unturned for the safety of women,” Majhi said. Police said the woman, after her alleged rape, was dumped on the roadside in south-east Delhi. An Indian Navy officer saw the woman and informed the police. The police took the woman to the hospital. Police found her bleeding and her clothes torn. TNN
