The VC voiced concerns over certain private institutions misusing PJTAU's name on social media and through intermediaries & offering seats in its colleges
Hyderabad: Vice-chancellor of Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU), Professor Aldas Janaiah, on Monday said the university does not have any affiliations or partnerships with private institutions to offer agricultural courses.
He said that MoUs with certain private entities have been terminated as they were deemed harmful to the university's interests. This review and cancellation process was completed by July 2022.
Professor Janaiah also expressed concern over misuse of PJTAU's name by some private institutions on social media and through intermediaries, falsely claiming to have affiliations with the university and offering seats in its constituent colleges. He urged students, parents and the public to be vigilant and not to be misled by these deceptive claims.
