Coimbatore: Two youths were arrested on Saturday for selling ganja and synthetic drugs to college students in the city.
Peelamedu police identified the arrested as S Umapathy, 26, and S Thennarasu, 26, both from Erode district.
Earlier last week police had arrested three youths and seized 1.1kg of ganja, 0.04g of LSD (synthetic drugs), and 36 tablets from them. Based on the information after interrogating the trio, police arrested two more people on Saturday.
Police have now formed a special team to nab the main supplier who procured the drugs from the North Eastern states and supplied it in the city.
