Apple CEO Tim Cook isn't familiar with all iPhone features, as shown in an interview where he didn’t know about group chat naming. He later adopted the advice. Despite Apple joining trends late, Cook emphasizes their four-word philosophy: 'Not first, but best,' prioritizing quality over speed in their products.

Apple CEO Tim Cook should be using almost all common features of iPhones? This is the general idea/view and thought. However, it seems there are some small features here and there that Apple CEO may not be so familiar with. As a journalist of Wall Street Journal found out.
While talking about some of his favourite things, he was asked, "The best name of a group chat?" And the look he gave is how the author said: "He looked at me like I’d asked him to recommend the best Android phone. “The best—name?” he said. “I don’t name them. Do you name yours? Interesting. I may take that on.”
Apple CEO may have given that glance, but he did remember to share that he did take the tip and followed it. The next time he met the author, he proudly said that he named the group chat with his college roommates as "Roommates".
During the interview, Cook shared several other interesting things about himself as well as Apple. He said that he makes sure to use every Apple product every day. Apple Watch during workout and AirPods for music. At the office, he switches to his MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMac. On the road, he travels with his iPad Pro. “Every day,” he said, “every product.”

Apple's four-word philosophy

One thing that is often said about Apple is that it usually enters a race late. The company is not per se known to start big trends. Talking about the same, Apple executives and Cook himself reportedly spoke about the company's four-word philosophy: "Not first, but best."
“We’re perfectly fine with not being first,” Cook said. “As it turns out, it takes a while to get it really great. It takes a lot of iteration. It takes worrying about every detail. Sometimes, it takes a little longer to do that. We would rather come out with that kind of product and that kind of contribution to people versus running to get something out first. If we can do both, that’s fantastic. But if we can only do one, there’s no doubt around here. If you talk to 100 people, 100 of them would tell you: It’s about being the best,” he added.
