Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin seemingly aimed criticism at actor-turned-politician Vijay, implying that new political parties are formed with the intention of undermining the DMK's progress. Stalin emphasised his administration's commitment to public welfare and dismissed concerns about such parties, stating that he prefers to focus on serving the people.

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin on Monday took a veiled swipe at actor-politician Vijay, suggesting those who form new parties are primarily motivated by a desire to harm the DMK.
“Whoever starts a new party wants DMK to be destroyed because they don’t like the growth of DMK,” Stalin said during an address at the Kolathur assembly constituency.
Urging his critics to reflect on the government’s achievements over the past four years, Stalin said, “I am not worried about those things. Our journey is to do good for the people. We don’t like to waste our time on such unnecessary matters.”
Earlier in the day, the 71-year-old leader inspected civic projects in Kolathur and distributed welfare measures to local residents.
