CHENNAI: More than 100 defence pensioners attended a digital life certificate camp in Vellore on Friday as part of the nationwide digital certificate campaign 3.0.
Digital life certificate enables defence pensioners to get the life certificate in no time using the face authentication technology, instead of getting the conventional certificate which takes time.
The camp is being held in Chennai on Monday. It would be held in Avadi on Nov 29 along with the grievance meeting for pensioners, said controller of defence accounts T Jayaseelan.
Krishnagiri, Tirupur, Thanjavur, Madurai and Coimbatore are the other places where the meetings will take place during this month. The other grievances of retired defence personnel will also be taken up during the meetings.
