Daltonganj: Civil surgeon Dr Anil Kumar alleged that unscrupulous health employees were colluding with private nursing homes to stall caesarean operation facilities at the community health centre (CHC) in Chainpur.
Dr Kumar said, “Chainpur CHC is among the 10 health centres in Palamu, where we have started caesarean operation facilities since September 29. We have successfully conducted caesarean operations free of cost on four women til October 21.”
“However, we have received reports that patients are lured to a private nursing home by sahiyas at the behest of private nursing homes with the promise that she would be under 24/7 medical observation at the centres.”
An OT staff said they have a single drum autoclave, which takes too much time for instrument sterilisation, and they need a double drum.
