Kanpur: Ekta Singh and Aman Chauhan of Kanpur Cricket Association have been selected in women's and men's cricket teams of the state to participate in the national championship.
Ekta Singh has been chosen in UP senior team (T-20) and she will join the squad which will compete in the knockout phase at Mumbai from Nov 6. Aman Chauhan has been selected in Under-19 men's team for Cooch Behar Trophy. UP team will commence its first match at Bareilly against MP from Nov 6.
KCA officials, including chairman Sanjay Kapoor, have congratulated the two players and expressed optimism that they would demonstrate their capabilities in the matches.
