Ludhiana: Dehlon police lodged an FIR against unidentified persons for burning paddy residue at Dangare village of Dehlon area. Head constable Karanvir Singh said that the police received information about an unknown person burning paddy residue at Dangare village. He said that a case was registered under Section 223 (disobedience to orders duly promulgated by public servant) of BNS. The government and the administration have been making earnest efforts to check stubble burning. tnn
