Megyn Kelly warns of a 'dark day' if Kamala Harris becomes president, criticizing her stance on immigration, transgender rights, and economic policies. Kelly claims Harris’s progressive agenda could worsen border issues, impact taxpayer funds, and raise taxes. Kelly also contends Democrats might legally block a potential Trump return and alleges media bias in ignoring accusations against Harris’s husband.
Megyn Kelly and Kamala Harris
Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly issued a stark warning about the potential of Kamala Harris becoming president, portraying it as a “dark day” scenario in a recent interview with The Daily Mail.
Kelly voiced her concerns on issues ranging from immigration to transgender policies to economic instability and the future of American values.
During her interview, Kelly criticized Harris’ stance on immigration, accusing her of being indifferent to illegal border crossings. “How are we going to stem the flow of illegals into this country?” Kelly questioned, claiming that Harris, like President Biden, lacks the will to enforce stricter border policies.
Kelly pointed to the large numbers of immigrants who have crossed the border into the US territory during Biden’s term and suggested that, under a Harris administration, border issues could worsen.
Gender identity and social issues in focus
Kelly also criticised Harris’ support for transgender rights, claiming that gender identity issues would “explode on steroids” under her administration.
Kelly referenced Harris’s stance on taxpayer-funded healthcare options, as evidence of a progressive agenda that could further divide the country. Harris has faced heavy fire from conservatives after endorsing taxpayer-funded sex-change operations for illegal immigrants.
Economic concerns
When discussing the economy, Kelly expressed fears that a Harris presidency would lead to higher taxes and slowed economic growth. She criticized Harris’s proposals, labelling them as impractical and unsustainable in the long term.
“Our economy is going to remain stalled, and our taxes are going to go up,” she said. “I think all the pie-in-the-sky plans that she threw out there like candy for these leftists, not one of them will get passed,” she added.
Potential legal battles if Trump wins
Addressing the possibility of a Trump victory in Tuesday’s election, Kelly predicted that Democrats might use legal manoeuvres to block his return to the office, potentially by labelling him an “insurrectionist.”
“It will revolve mostly around lawfare,” Kelly said.
Allegations against Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff
Kelly also criticized the media for "ignoring" abuse allegations against Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris’s husband.
“The only reason this didn’t get coverage is because he’s Kamala Harris’s husband,” Kelly stated. “It completely undermines the narrative they've been pushing about him being the new standard for masculinity."
