New Delhi: AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal visited Connaught Place's Hanuman Mandir on Friday with his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, and took part in the puja and yajna. Speaking to the media after offering the prayer, Kejriwal said he prayed for the well-being and good health of everyone in the country and hoped for everyone's wishes to be fulfilled.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva also performed prayer at the same temple for "freedom from corrupt dispensation in Delhi" and establishment of a "development-oriented govt". AAP later stated, "We sincerely hope that Lord Hanuman grants Sachdeva and BJP some ‘sadbudhhi' so they can actually start working for the underprivileged and downtrodden of the country." tnn
