India vs Pakistan Highlights, Hong Kong Super Sixes: Asif Ali scored a whirlwind 14-ball 55 while Muhammad Akhlaq gave him company with 40 not out off 12 balls as Pakistan chased down India's 119/2 with an over to spare to qualify for the Hong Kong Super Sixes knockouts on Friday. Sent into bat first, India started with a bang with captain Robin Uthappa plundering 27 runs in the opeening over. However, Faheem Ashraf brought Pakistan into the game with two wickets in the second over. But it was Bharat Chipli's 16-ball 53 and Manoj Tiwary's 7-ball 17 not out that helped India post 119/2. In reply, Pakistan were in the chase from the very first ball. The opening duo of Ali and Akhlaq took the game away from India with some solid hitting before skipper Faheem Ashraf finished the match with three consecutive sixes with an over to spare. With this win, Pakistan secured victories in both their pool games while India need a win over UAE to advance to the next round.
With this win, Pakistan won both their Pool C games and qualify for the knockouts. Pakistan have earlier defeated UAE. India now have a match against UAE.
