Meanwhile, Dhanteras sales figures revealed city traders made a business worth Rs 5,300 crores. Real estate dominated with bookings reaching Rs 1,500 crores. Sweets establishments secured the second position with sales of Rs 1,000 crores.
The bullion market made transactions worth Rs 800 crores, securing third position.
The automobile sector ranked fourth with revenues of Rs 700 crores. Customers who previously reserved vehicles collected them on Dhanteras. Automobile industry sources indicated approximately one thousand cars and 2500 two-wheelers were pre-booked.
