NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Yash Chemex Ltd.(up 19.99%), Force Motors(up 18.95%), Baba Arts(up 18.02%) and Taylormade Renewable(up 17.29%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 273.7 points down at 80095.33, while the 50-share index, NSE was 61.45 points at 24405.4.

In the Nifty50 index, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Baba Arts, Jagsonpal Pharm, Shreyas Intermediates, SPS Finquest and Mohite Industries hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shankar Lal Rampal, OCCL Ltd., Evergreen Textiles, Gautam Gems and Cressanda Sol touched their new 52-week low during the session.
