Nearly every Samsung fan is looking forward to the next One UI version. One UI 7 is said to be one of the biggest updates Samsung has ever cooked, which is why it will sit in the oven a while longer than usual.

However, a new video has surfaced on X, allegedly demonstrating One UI 7's new animation system. And it looks glorious.

One UI 7 seems to be getting better and better

X user (@TechKhaled) credits known leaker @UniverseIce for the video you see below, but whether or not it is a legitimate recording of One UI 7 cannot be confirmed. Nevertheless, the video demonstrates smooth animations with characteristics colloquially referred to as “Non-linear” and “Parallel.”

“Non-linear” animations generate different paths for app windows and widgets as they open or close. The apps don't always follow the same animation on a single preset path. And “Parallel” means a new animation can begin before a previous one ends.

All this leads to a smoother One UI experience and a more visually pleasing interface.

However, we should remind you that One UI 7 is still months away from a public release, given that Samsung said it will roll it out in 2025. So, nothing we see about One UI 7 through these early leaks is final.

Even if the video above shows a real version of One UI 7.0, things could still change by the time Samsung officially rolls out the update. So, take this with a pinch of salt.

As a reminder, We spent a bit of time with an early version of One UI 7 at SDC24, but development is moving so fast that many things we showed in our video (below) are already outdated.

Recently, @UniverseIce claimed that Samsung's One UI 7 still has many issues and needs further optimization, “But at least we see some hope.”
