The Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) has activated its annual Doctors on Call service for Diwali season, with 83 physicians. The initiative, in its 14th year, ensures medical care to residents when family physicians take a break. "Compared to earlier years, the number of calls during the season has reduced with more hospitals maintaining their operations during festivals." The phone numbers will be available on the AMA website, he said.
