DR Lata Suresh, Head, Knowledge Resource Centre, IICA was invited as a keynote speaker at the 3rd International Conference at DPG College, Gurugram.
My talk focused on “Fintech for All: Bridging Gaps in India’s Financial Ecosystem.” During the presentation, I explored the transformative impact of fintech in reshaping India’s financial landscape. While technology has made great strides, challenges in accessibility, financial literacy, and inclusivity remain. We discussed how innovations like mobile payments, digital lending, and blockchain are paving the way for greater financial inclusion, especially for underserved groups such as rural communities and low-income households. Key initiatives like the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Aadhaar have revolutionized digital transactions, allowing millions to access formal banking services. I also highlighted how fintech can enhance economic participation and create a more equitable financial ecosystem.
