Ludhiana: Hathur police have booked unidentified thieves after they struck at a private school and stole articles to be given as Diwali gifts kept for the school staff . Principal Vimal Chadok told the cops that on the intervening night of Oct 24 and 25 some unknown persons had carried out theft in the school.
He added that the thieves had tied the two security guards and thrown them in a room before commiting the theft. The complainant said the accused had stole 17 lunch box boxes to give as Diwali gifts to the staff, a silver coin and two shawl among other items.
