Hisar: The last rites of jawan Jeevan Singh (28), killed in a terrorist attack in Gulmarg, was performed with full state honours in his native village in Sirsa district on Saturday. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and parents.
As soon as the news of his death reached his family on Friday, his mother Golo Kaur and wife Komal were inconsolable.
His father, Sukhdev Singh, said he was proud of his son who died protecting the country.
