The Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus Highline Plus variants have been launched in India. They were introduced alongside the new GT-Line variants, and both cars get feature upgrades over the regular Highline variants.
Taigun Highline Plus
The Taigun Highline Plus variant is available with both AT and MT transmission options and they are priced at Rs. 14.27 lakh and Rs. 15.37 lakh respectively. That is a hike of Rs. 54000 and Rs. 89000 over the equivalent Highline variants.

Virtus Highline Plus
The Virtus Highline Plus variant is available with two-pedal and three-pedal transmission options and they are priced at Rs. 13.88 lakh and Rs. 14.98 lakh respectively. That is a hike of Rs. 86000 and Rs. 81000 over the equivalent Highline variants.
When we look at Highline Plus over Highline trim across both cars, you get the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto-dimming IRVM, button start, sunroof, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and follow me home function for the headlamps. The only engine on offer is VW’s 1.0-litre TSI petrol that produces 114bhp/178Nm and can be had with a six-speed MT or a six-speed torque converter AT. Volkswagen has a massive trim list for both the Taigun and Virtus in a bid to diversify the appeal of the SUV and sedan. Latest reports suggest that the duo will get a facelift in 2026 with even more value additions across the chain.
