Lucknow: A youth allegedly raped his 23-year-old girlfriend at her house under the Alambagh police station and thrashed her for opposing the sexual assault. An FIR was lodged on Friday.
Not only this, parents of the accused, while impersonating as police inspectors, threatened the victim to keep mum or they would kill her in an encounter.
The victim, a native of Barabanki and currently staying at Pawanpuri in the area, lodged a complaint seeking action against the accused and his parents.
In her complaint, she said she was in the office on Oct 16 when her friend from Osho Nagar, Kanausi under the Krishnanagar police station took her to her room and thrashed her. She said that she suffered serious head injuries in the attack and the youth also threatened to kill her. She further alleged that the accused also forcibly had sexual relations with her. "After he left, his mother and father, who posed as police inspectors, phoned me and started abusing me and my family, threatening to kill me in an encounter," she alleged.
Additional DCP, east zone, Pankaj Kumar Singh said that a probe is being conducted.
