Noida: The Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) has formed 32 teams for urban and rural areas, including 6 special teams for electrical safety, to ensure a smooth supply during the festival.
These teams will be available throughout the day to address any electrical during the festival. The discom has also issued an advisory on safety measures to prevent fire incidents, especially near electrical equipment.
A total of 26 teams, including 10 in urban areas, 6 in Surajpur, 5 in Kasna, and 5 in Greater Noida West will ensure uninterrupted power supply in Greater Noida. Additionally, 6 special teams across urban areas, Kasna, Surajpur and Greater Noida West will ensure electrical safety during the festival.
The discom has also issued helpline numbers 0120-6226666 and 9718722222.
" We advise people not to use firecrackers near transformers, feeder pillars, overhead lines, cables, and garbage areas," said Sarnath Ganguly, vice president (operations) NPCL, Greater Noida.
