Nagpur: Ramdeobaba University (RBU) hosted a pivotal seminar with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) titled ‘Leadership Talks on Change Management'. This event brought together prominent leaders, change management professionals, and organisational strategists to discuss the vital role of leadership in managing organisational change.
Rishi Kumar Bagla, deputy chairman of CII Western Region, urged attendees to ‘Go back to the Vedas', emphasising that the primary goal of academicians should be to cultivate good global citizens. He highlighted agility as a critical factor in today's dynamic environment and stressed the necessity of innovation. He also emphasised three key concepts in business: Business, professionalism and motivation underscoring the need for India to increase its share in the global economy by 2047. He emphasised that India will go back to its old glory if we focus on fundamentals.
Other notable invitees included Rajesh Kapoor, regional director of CII Western Region; Ranjeet Singh, convenor of CII Maharashtra, industry academia panel; Shailesh Awale, chairman of CII Vidarbha Zone; and Shree Jamdar, vice-chairman of CII Vidarbha Zone.
Rajesh Pande, vice-chancellor of RBU, gave the opening remark. The talk was attended by deans, directors, HoDs and faculty of RBU. Vote of thanks was proposed by Rajiv Khaire. Prof Akhilesh Ingle and Prof Snehal Patel worked hard for the successful organisation of the event.
