Mysuru: The city-based premier Karnataka Police Academy hosted a two-day discussion in the field of police training with the Bavaria State Police of Germany at its premises. The initiative was headed by additional director general of police (training) Alok Kumar. The discussion on Thursday and Friday was held between the police of two states' as the state police entered into an agreement with the Bavaria state of Germany in 2016 for the exchange of ideas, sharing information, technology, and skill development related to police training. Bavaria state is one of the largest states in Germany. During the discussion, they covered scenario-based learning, including maintenance of law and order, traffic management, detection of cyber crimes, prevention of women and children trafficking, skill development, and other areas of police training, a release stated.
