Lucknow: Over 600 architecture students from across 7 states will come together to be part of the three-day 67th National Association of Students of Architecture Convention (Zone 4) slated from Oct 25 at APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The event is a melting pot of ideas, creativity, and design, with students and faculty alike participating in the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The event serves as a platform for aspiring architects to showcase their creativity, technical skills and collaborative spirit.It will see participation from 25 colleges in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim and Chhattisgarh.
NASA, a prominent student body in India, has been fostering architectural education and student participation since its inception in 1957.
The convention will emphasise the importance of sustainable architecture, a critical focus area in today's design world, through workshops and special lectures by industry leaders, said officials.
Noted architects and design professionals, including principal architect at Archohm, Sourabh Gupta, and architect Mukul Goyal will grace the event.
Besides, there will be other industry leaders who will engage with students.
The programme will be held under the supervision of AKTU VC Prof JP Pandey and principal and dean, faculty of architecture and planning, Vandana Sehgal.
