NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 11:19AM

Oriental Trimex Ltd.(up 4.92%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 4.21%), Pokarna Ltd.(up 1.31%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 1.11%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.00%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 0.91%), KIOCL Ltd.(up 0.48%) and Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 0.46%) were among the top gainers.

20 Microns Ltd.(down 2.00%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(down 1.17%), MOIL Ltd.(down 1.14%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 0.48%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(down 0.11%) and NMDC Ltd.(down 0.02%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 39.21 points down at 24396.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 94.93 points at 79987.05 at around 11:19AM.

Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.16%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.02%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.51%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.1%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.02%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.96%), State Bank of India(up 0.9%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 0.88%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.83%) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.82%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 6.54%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 4.9%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.62%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 3.07%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.24%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.59%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.35%), ITC Ltd.(down 1.24%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.94%) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.88%) were trading in the red.
