Ahmedabad: Officials, employees and students of Gujarat University have to wear helmets while entering the campuses of the university as well as its affiliated colleges, mandated a circular issued by the varsity on Thursday. The rule applies to pillion riders, too.
All departments have been instructed to ensure compliance with this regulation with immediate effect. The university's announcement comes in response to the govt's recent directive aimed at promoting road safety.
