19 Employees from different Departments of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were felicitated under Shabash Scheme in a function organised at the Conference Hall of ED (Works) Office on 21st October 2024. Mr. Alok Verma, ED (Mines) with Additional Charge of ED (Works) presided over the function and handed over the Appreciation Letters. Present on the occasion were concerned CGMs, HODs and other Senior Officers of the Plant.
Two employees from Design Department were given Appreciation letter for playing a facilitating role in upgradation of Design Portal of RSP. 12 employees from Crane Maintenance, RCM, Safety, FMM, SMS-II were felicitated for successful and safe execution of repair work in main girder of Converter charging crane No 2021 of Steel Melting Shop-II. Five employees from SMS-II received the appreciation for recording longest sequence of 380 heats from Caster-III on 12th October 2024 with a cast tonnage of 60,200Ton.
