NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:59AM

Reliance Power Ltd.(up 4.99%), NLC India Ltd.(up 4.03%), NHPC Ltd.(up 3.66%), Adani Power Ltd.(up 3.19%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(up 2.75%), Torrent Power Ltd.(up 1.68%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 1.47%), PTC India Ltd.(up 1.40%), SJVN Ltd.(up 1.30%) and RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 1.16%) were among the top gainers.

Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 5.01%), Karma Energy Ltd.(down 2.07%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(down 2.01%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(down 1.93%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(down 1.51%), GE Power India Ltd.(down 1.30%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(down 1.23%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 1.00%), Adani Green Energy Ltd.(down 0.64%) and Indowind Energy Ltd.(down 0.57%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 14.6 points down at 24420.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 45.69 points at 80036.29 at around 10:59AM.

Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 2.07%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.98%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.58%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.21%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.14%), State Bank of India(up 1.0%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.96%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 0.83%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.81%) and Cipla Ltd.(up 0.71%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 6.67%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 4.49%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 3.78%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.25%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.18%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.45%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.38%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.14%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.04%) and ITC Ltd.(down 0.89%) were trading in the red.
