Patna: A govt schoolteacher posted in Gopalganj district was placed under suspension for her derogatory remarks against the Prime Minister.
Sultana Perveen, an English teacher at Middle School, Jaitpur, landed in trouble after she asked the students to write an English sentence targeting the PM.
Soon after receiving the information, the education department ordered an inquiry and subsequently placed her under suspension.Departmental proceedings were also initiated after the charges were found to be true. “Her conduct is unbecoming of a teacher. We have placed her suspension,” Local DEO Yogesh Kumar said.
An official order later issued from the establishment section of the DEO said, “Her act is indicative of the arbitrary behaviour and indiscipline contrary to the conduct of a govt teacher.” TNN
