Vadodara: It was a chaotic scene in the Khodiyarnagar area on Monday night as a high-speed car chase unfolded between the police and suspected thieves. As the police cars closed in, the thieves showed no signs of slowing down. But their reckless driving soon caught up with them as they lost control of the car and crashed into the wall of a service station.They even mowed down a two-wheeler driver during the chase.
The Warasia police then arrested Maharajsinh Jadav and Bharat Patel, both residents of Narmada, as they were in an inebriated condition. The cops also found liquor bottles inside their car.
The police team in Khodiyarnagar had been on high alert for the past few days, following reports of a string of robberies in the area. As they patrolled the streets their attention was caught when they saw a car. Two men were inside the car, and something about their demeanor raised suspicions among the police. When the cops tried to stop the car, the duo sped away.
