Kanpur: In the Gujaini police area of the city, a tanker filled with petroleum lost control and collided with a divider on the highway, causing a traffic jam on Wednesday. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene. Jang Bahadur, a resident of Hisar district, and his assistant Nilesh Kumar were transporting the petroleum-filled tanker to Ranchi.Near Gujaini, the tanker went out of control, hit the divider on the right side, and ended up in the opposite lane. Fortunately, no other vehicles were passing by at the time.
The mishap lead to long traffic jam on the highway. Gujaini Police Station officers arrived at the scene, and during the investigation, they found the driver and assistant in an inebriated state. The police later took them to station for questioning. TNN
