Civic bodies catch 88 stray cattle
Jaipur: In a joint operation, teams from JMC Greater and JMC Heritage caught 88 stray cattle from different localities in the city on Sunday.
Ahead of Rising Rajasthan investment summit and Swachhta Survekshan survey, both municipal corporations are taking action against stray animals through a campaign.
Deputy commissioner for animal management from JMC Greater, Rajni Madhiwal, said, "Regular action is being taken by the municipal corporation against stray animals.

On Sunday, inspections were started in different areas, including Shastri Nagar, Indira Bazaar, Brahmapuri, New Gate Road, Amer Road, Kanwar Nagar, and Galta Gate. During the inspection, 88 stray cattle were caught and taken to Hingonia gaushala. An illegal dairy was also demolished." The drive will continue until Dec when the summit is scheduled.
