Man kills mom for going on trip in Karnataka
In Rajolla village, Jatteppa, 34, allegedly killed his 72-year-old mother, Devakamma, after she returned from a trip. Jatteppa, who had been living with her after his wife left, assaulted and beat her to death following an argument about her absence.

The incident happened at Rajolla village in Chittapur taluk of Kalaburagi district.
The deceased is Devakamma Doddabirappa Pujari, 72. Jatteppa Doddabirappa Pujari, 34, has been arrested.
Jatteppa's wife has been staying at her parents' house for a year along with their two childrenas Jatteppa used to beat her up every day after coming home, under the influence of alcohol.
Chittapur DSP Shankaragouda Patil said Devakamma went to Lakshmipurwadi five days ago and returned to Rajolla on Saturday.
Jatteppa picked a fight with his mother about leaving town. He assaulted his mother with a stick. When she ran out of the house, he chased her and beat her to death. tnn
