    On Police Martyrs’ Day, Rachakonda Commissioner of Police (CP) Sudhir Babu IPS paid tribute to fallen police personnel. He laid floral tributes at the Police Martyrs Memorial Stupa and honored the portraits of martyrs at the CAR Headquarters in Amberpet.

    CP Sudhir Babu highlighted the sacrifices made by police officers across the nation. He specifically remembered the ten Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans who died in an unexpected attack by Chinese forces in Ladakh on October 21, 1959. He explained that this day serves as a reminder of the bravery and dedication of police officers who work to maintain peace and security in society.

    As part of the commemorative week, which runs from October 21 to 27, several community activities are planned in the Rachakonda Commissionerate. These events include blood donation camps, essay competitions, online open houses, photography contests, and short film competitions. The CP encouraged students and citizens to participate in these events to honor the memory of police martyrs.

    Family members of the martyrs also attended the event. Ten representatives from the Yadadri zone of Nalgonda district and three from the Ibrahimpatnam division were present. CP Sudhir Babu expressed his condolences to the families and inquired about their well-being. He urged the public to acknowledge the sacrifices made by police personnel.

    Several dignitaries, including Yadadri DCP Rajesh Chandra IPS, Malkajgiri DCP Padmaja IPS, and LB Nagar DCP Praveen Kumar IPS, also attended the event. They joined the CP in encouraging the Rachakonda police to continue their dedication to serving the community and maintaining peace.

    As the city remembers its heroes, the importance of community cooperation was emphasized. Citizens were encouraged to support their local police in the fight against crime and help create a safer environment for everyone.
