Withdraw GO 29, reschedule Group-1 exams: Bandi
Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home affairs and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay on Sunday wrote an open letter to chief minister A Revanth Reddy to withdraw GO 29 about Group-1 exams unconditionally and reschedule the exams.
In his letter, Sanjay said the chief minister should withdraw the GO without any hesitance and resistance. "Despite the exams on Monday, they (job aspirants) are protesting, this tells how serious their demand is.

Please consider the unemployed as your family members and understand their anguish," he said.
The Union minister said that due to GO 29, 5,003 SC, ST, BC candidates were disqualified from Group-1 exams. "Announcing candidates at a ratio of 1:50 for 563 posts is unjust. Out of these total posts, 354 are reserved posts. Including reserved candidates who qualified in the open category, into the reserved category due to GO 29 is unfair," he said.
While SC, ST, BC candidates qualify at a ratio of 1:50 due to this GO, OC categories qualify at a rate of 1:65, he added.
Saying that GO Number 29 is against the spirit of the Constitution and the rule of reservation, he said: "Group 1 candidates are in severe distress," he said.
"There is a fear that GO 29 is about to abolish the entire reservation system in the state," he added.
