Prayagraj: The state govt is making hectic preparations for the upcoming Maha Kumbh, leaving no stone unturned to transform Prayagraj into a vibrant city.
As part of the beautification efforts, roads, intersections and walls are being adorned with artwork inspired by the mythology of Kumbh, capturing the essence of the grand spiritual event.
With these public spaces already receiving an artistic makeover, the focus has now shifted towards the city's major parks.
These parks are being revitalised to provide serene recreational spaces for the millions of devotees and tourists expected to attend the Maha Kumbh. The initiative aims to enhance the visitor experience by offering beautifully landscaped areas where guests can relax and soak in the spiritual ambience.
Deputy director of garden Krishna Mohan Chaudhary shared that the department is working on beautifying six major parks in Prayagraj. The govt has approved a budget of Rs 495.97 lakh for the project and the tender process is complete. The selected parks include Chandra Shekhar Azad Park, Khusro Bagh, Circuit House Park, Board of Revenue Park, High Court Complex Park, and TB Sapru Hospital Park.
