Ranchi: District education department would display the contact number of the district superintendent of education (DSE) on the mid-day meal (MDM) board of every school. The step aims to enhance transparency and accountability in school meal.
The initiative enables parents, students, and community members to report any discrepancy between the meals provided and the prescribed menu on 8409636008.
DSE Badal Raj said, “The initiative would foster greater community involvement in monitoring school services. The department encourages active participation from parents and guardians to ensure food quality and safety standards in schools.” TNN
