3 held with crackers in Noida hotel

Noida: Three men were arrested for allegedly selling firecrackers from a hotel in Sector 11. Police have also filed an FIR against the hotel manager, who is on the run.
The men allegedly purchased firecrackers at lower rates and sold them in NCR ahead of Diwali at higher prices. Production, sale, and use of all types of firecrackers in Delhi-NCR are banned till Jan 1 under Graded Response Action Plan stage 1, which came into force earlier this week.
DCP Noida Rambadan Singh said that a team from Sector 24 PS arrested the three men — Abhinay, Aman, and Keshav Chaudhary — from room number 103 of SNJ Hotel and seized five bags of illegal fireworks worth over Rs 5 lakh.
