Bid to snatch gold chain

Ahmedabad: An unknown person allegedly tried to snatch a gold chain from a girl while she was sleeping in her house in Chandkheda at about 3am on Wednesday. A 58-year-old resident of Chandkheda in her complaint stated that her daughter and her five-year-old niece were sleeping in the hall when her daughter felt that somebody was pulling the chain she was wearing.She woke up and saw an unidentified person standing near her. When the complainant shouted to seek help from neighbours, the person ran away. She then filed the complaint with Chandkheda police.
