RSP exec held for sexually harassing minor daughter
Rourkela: A senior executive of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was arrested on Thursday night for allegedly sexually harassing and torturing his 13-year-old daughter for the last four years.
The girl has been lodged in a Sakhi one-stop centre. Her statement was recorded before the judicial magistrate first class on Friday. Police said the officer’s wife died five years ago.

Their elder daughter, aged 21, is studying outside. The younger daughter studies in Class VI in a private English medium school and stays with her father.
As per the FIR lodged by the minor girl’s uncle on Thursday, her father has been sexually assaulting her for the last four years. The girl had even told her relatives about her ordeal. She recently informed her uncle and both of them went to the police station to lodge the complaint against her father.
“We are further investigating the case,” said S Khamari, inspector in-charge of the local police station.
