Mangaluru: The eight Bangladeshi nationals arrested by the Udupi police for staying illegally in India were remanded in judicial custody on Saturday. Udupi SP Arun K said the documents seized from them are being verified. It may be recalled that the seven accused, who were arrested by the Malpe police, were remanded in five-day police custody on Monday.
Later, the police picked up two more illegal immigrants from Karkala, who were remanded in judicial custody. On Friday, the police picked up one more person who was produced before the court on Saturday.
