Crocodile found at Bullet Train project site in Gujarat

VADODARA: Workers at the Bullet Train project site in Devpura village of Padra taluka saw something moving in the pit dug for a pillar foundation on Friday afternoon.
On looking closely, they found a crocodile swimming around in the pit, which was full of water.

They informed the authorities, who called volunteers of the city chapter of the Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA).
The volunteers rescued the four-and-a-half-foot crocodile. It was later released in a nearby waterbody after informing the forest department.
