Kodagu foresters plan to rescue tiger
Madikeri: A tiger is on the prowl outside the Nagarahole Tiger Reserve and attacked livestock at Badaga Banangala village. The foresters have now decided to rescue the tiger. The big cat attacked a cow at a coffee plantation and killed it, which was noticed by labourers. Deputy range forest officer Shashi of Thithimathi Range visited the spot. DCF (Virajpet division) Jagannath has asked officials to rescue the tiger by placing a cage near the spot.

Foresters are planning to tranquillise the tiger and nab it if the situation demands.
